We suggest arriving early to the ceremony location to allow adequate time to find parking in the area, or arriving by taxi, or train. The local parking garage is 8 blocks away and one avenue over, on 150th street and Riverside Park.
If you are driving to the ceremony there will be adequate parking for the reception on site.
Directions to the Reception will be handed out at the Ceremony. The reception venue has on site parking and is directly off of the Major Deegan Highway at Exit 9. It is our sincere request that folks carpool to the reception to accomodate for those without cars. For those using public transportation we also suggest taking a taxi for convenience. NYC subway directions to the Reception will be handed out at the Ceremony.
To the ceremony by Train:
Take the 1 train to 145th street walk south on Broadway. Take a left onto 143rd street the location will be further up the street on your right.
Take the A,C,B,D to 145th street and walk up 145th street towards Amsterdam Ave. Take a left onto Amsterdam Ave towards 143rd street, take a right onto 143rd street the location is on your left.
From JFK to Ceremony:
Go NE on the Van Wyck Expy continue on the JFK access rd in order to stay on the Van Wyck. Continue to I-678 N. Take Exit 13 toward New York 25A/Northern Blvd toward Astoria/Triboro Bridge- Keep right at the fork towards the Triboro Bridge.
Keep LEFT at the next fork and follow signs to the grand central pkwy west continue onto I-278 E, take exit 47 to the Major Deegan North.
Take exit 4 off of the major Deegan at 149th going towards the 145th street bridge.
Turn left at E 149th street and continue onto W 145th Street, turn left at Amsterdam Ave and a right onto 143rd street.
From LGA to Ceremony
Follow the above directions starting with follow signs to the Grand Central Pkwy West directions are the same from there.
From Western Massachusetts to Ceremony
Take I-91 South towards Connecticut
take exit 17 towards CT-15/W Cross Pkwy
Merge onto CT-15 South
stay to the left and continue onto the Hutchinson River Pkwy South
stay to the left and continue onto Cross County Pkwy (signs towards the George Washington bridge)
Follow signs and take the exit for Route I-87 south (Major Deegan) towards Triboro Bridge
merge onto I-87 South. Take exit 5 off of the Major Deegan for Macombs Dam Bridge toward E 161st Street. Turn right at Macombs Dam Bridge, slight right at W. 155th Street, turn left at Amsterdam Ave, turn right at W 143rd Street.
